Although we have had a pretty even mix of campers and motellers in the past, a new tradition is starting this year: The MCBC campers may be a thing of the past but the bicycling will go on! All you need to do is make lodging arrangments for the days you would like to attend. Several folks will arrive Sunday afternoon and depart on Friday morning but you are free to come and go on your schedule. However, try to obtain your lodging in the vicinity of Baileys Harbor as ride routes will generally start and planned dinners will be located there. Most lodging in the Door peninsula is not far by car so you can stay most anywhere. You can always camp if you wish as there are a few nearby campgrounds.

In addition to the four days of planned bicycle rides to breakfast spots in the morning, there are always plenty of things to do and see in Door County. One evening we plan on attending a play performed in the woodsy outdoor theater in Peninsula State Park. In addition there are light house tours, hiking trails, boat and kayak tours, beaches and much more to occupy your non bicycling hours. Lots of highly regarded shopping spots are also to be found so your visit to Door County can be as busy or restful as you like.

As the county is a popular destination in the summer, it is best to obtain your lodging reservations as soon as you can. If you have any questions or advice please let me know.
